The first watercolour painting course with Gerard Hendriks in Germany – there is no place more suitable for this purpose than the colony of artists Worpswede. Since time immemorial, the picturesque scenery of the Teufelsmoor has attracted artists and literati. Fritz Mackensen, Otto Modersohn, Paula Modersohn-Becker and Hans am Ende as well as Rainer Maria Rilke were fascinated by the striking scenery and its exceptional lighting conditions. Enjoy the flair and the rural idyll of Northern Germany.

Experience a unique painting course combined with stress-relieved and relaxing weekend in this artists’ village of worldwide renown. The course is designed for beginners and advanced painters alike. Depending on the weather conditions, animals, flowers and landscapes will be painted outdoors or in the studio.

At first, Gerard Hendriks himself will paint in watercolours. Afterwards he will be on hand with help and advice for his students. We trust that his long-time experience, his expert knowledge and his inimitable style will inspire you just as it enchanted us.
